Antique Majolica Milk Pitcher
For your consideration is a majolica milk pitcher. Small in size, but big on design. The colors are sharp and it has wonderful deep mold detail. This is one you can be proud to add to your collection. The overall colors are shades of aqua/ green with a pink interior. The flower is in pink with small amount of yellow and green leafs. The handle is brown. It is decorated with small scalloped triangles at the base. The top and lower body has a twisted rope design. The bottom has an imprinted "7" as well as a painted 7 in brown.It measures 5 in. high, 2.5 on base and 3in across on top. It is in excellent condition, except a small rim rub on the spout. Cir: Early 1900's.
